The contract for restoration of the old church building has been awarded to BWY Construction of Dresden, TN. Work should begin November 1, 2011!! It's been a long, hard road.. Thanks Bill King, for all the hours and effort involved in securing the funds and working with Madison County to save this piece of Madison County history..
The Big Black Creek Historical Association has many current and planned projects but the most critical is the restoration of The old Denmark Presbyterian Church. The building is listed on The National Register of Historic Places and Tennessee Trail, the building is planned to be a museum after repairs are complete.
