Well kept by the Stevens family.
Burials started in the 1830's, it is still an active cemetery.
Final resting place for Captain John B. Ingram, commanding officer of a group of local men from the Denmark and surrounding area.
After a church service, "The Denmark Danes" departed from The Denmark Presbyterian Church to Jackson, TN to fight for the Confederate Army in the Civil War.
These 2 Confederats soldiers died on September 1, 1862 at The Battle of Britton Lane.
